and just like that.....

my baby turned six.

he celebrated with a cubs themed baseball party, complete with a pickup baseball game.  this kid is seriously the most energetic and enthusiastic person i know.  he makes life so much fun (and keeps me thoroughly exhausted!)  cheers to six.  but don't you be getting any ideas about how old that makes me.......lol!

and just because everyone loves a good progression.....here is h with his best gal pal, flora at every. single. birthday. party.

summer splashes {july 2016}

every once in a while, i spend my day off hauling the kiddos around town with me trying out new locations for photo sessions with clients.  i have been looking for a nice little sandy spot to explore that wouldn't be overrun with other people - and my kids were thrilled to oblige with rock throwing, sand drawing, and the occasional hug-pose.  it's a hard life to be a photographer's kid, but mine seem to handle the pressure mostly well.....

last day of school {2016}

blaire's last day of preschool at adventures.  age 3.5

hendrix's last day of early kindergarten at northwood preschool center.  age 5.5.

It was a great year for both of them :)
