fresh start

few things visually represent the fresh, clean feeling of a New Year better than a coat of fluffy white, undisturbed, sparkly snow!

GORGEOUS!

happy new year, friends!

i hope that you can reflect with fondness on all the blessings of 2013, and are ready to press onward to whatever 2014 has in store!

favorite photos from 2011

recapping the previous year seems like a fabulous way to start a new year.

there has been a recurring trend that i have noticed among some of my blogging friends to post the 'top 11 photos of 2011'.
i imagine that many of them didn't have some 350+ photos of each month of last year to choose from....

this was the best i could do.

enjoy my meager 28 favorite photos from 2011.

here's to another year!

happy 2012

Happy New Year!

We had a wonderful time ringing in the New Year with some dear friends.

I can't help but notice how much has changed since last New Year's which was spent out on the town in St. Louis.  Having a child has sure turned my world upside down, and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Our friends have an indoor swimming pool and hot tub, and we took Hendrix for his first dip.

While he was a tad bit apprehensive at first, he seemed to really enjoy it after he got used to the temperature of the water.  I was nervous that he would hate it since he hates taking baths so much (he showers with my hubby still) but I think since he was being held, he was fine. :)

We then spent our New Year's Day watching movies, and setting up our new computer!  :)

I am thrilled to have a computer again, but I feel like I am so behind on my picture uploads and postings.  Our holidays were lots of fun, and really packed full of activities.

You can check out the complete album of our Christmas celebrations.

You can also check out  Hendrix's 3 month pictures.

This movie was taken over the holidays of Hendrix getting some special attention from his Uncle Jake.

Here's another one of his giggles.

Hendrix has brought so much joy to our lives, and I can't wait to see what 2011 has in store for him!
