lazy days of summer {waterworks park}

sometimes i take my family along with me on photoshoots, and i catch images of them either before or after the actual intended session......

sometimes they roll their eyes at me and choose to not cooperate at all....

and then other times they are naturally happy and goofy and give me the best smiles, grins, and sweaty faces ever!  ;)

and there are few things that i adore more than seeing my hubby snuggling with our babes.  melts. me.  completely. ;)

sunshine.  sand.  bridge.  water.

these are the things that summer is made of.  ;)

biker dude

this biker dude is getting closer and closer to being able to ride his trike all by himself.  he can reach the peddles now, but he just still hasn't quite mastered the rotating motion.   this doesn't stop him from trying all. the. time.

and he is really good about wearing his helmet.  somehow we have him convinced that it is the 'cool' thing to do since both mommy and daddy wear helmets when they ride their bikes.....so he actually wants to wear his helmet even when he is just sitting on his trike in the driveway.  

can't believe this fella is 21 months old already.  

i need to start preparing myself for that big second birthday......

it will be here before i know it!
